Dear Lord -- You are the Creator of all creatures, great and small. May I never lose my love and appreciation of your animals and their beauty.
Exercise
I dropped off my daughter at the Peterborough Zoo to volunteer at the "touch table". This is a display with turtle shells, feathers, bones etc. that visitors can look
at and touch and learn more information about. While there, I walked around with my son and took in the wonderful sights and smells. We walked for about 30-minutes -- not a strenuous workout, but a most enjoyable one. My highlight was catching a glimpse of, not one, but two foxes! I have been going to this zoo since I was a child in the 70s. This great place still offers all the excellent exhibits for free to the public!

Healthy Eating
My friend, Jan, shared with me her hummus with baby carrots and rice crackers. What a delightful combination. I love the texture, the smell and the taste of hummus. Who knew that such a yummy delicacy could come from a small chickpea!

We are now back home after a delightful two days with our grandkids.
It was wonderful seeing you and so excited with our possibilities in writing.
